Dacha of Ilya Terentyev

1900. One of the first two-story houses in the city of Pishpek, the so-called country dacha of Terentyev. In those years, the northern border of the city was the Tashkent highway. Like many two-story houses in the city, it stood on a high stone foundation made of cut stone, above which there was a brick plinth of the first floor with patterned decor of the brickwork. The walls of the upper floor are wooden frame. The house had several living rooms and a living room. The roof was originally covered with reeds. Along the facade there were carved cornices, platbands, and shutters on the windows. Under the hanging roof there was a terrace-gallery with a high porch. Wooden posts and railings with posts, slotted cornices gave the terrace an elegant look.
