This ceramic was made before 1914, when Poland was still part of the Russian Empire. It was used to line stoves at stations of the railway under construction.

The former Pishpek station continues to operate in modern Bishkek as Bishkek-1. The Lugovaya–Pishpek railway section opened in 1924, and the first train arrived at Pishpek station on 8 August of that year. The station retained the old city name through the Soviet period and was later renamed Bishkek-1. It remains one of the city’s railway stations and preserves the transport continuity of the original western railway node, distinct from the later central passenger station Bishkek-2. The 2016 photograph records the modern appearance of the station territory.
