Today it is Chui Avenue. Now in this place, on one side of Chui Avenue is the building of the National Academy of Sciences, on the other - the building of the National University, and between them along the street - a circular lawn and a lonely, already doomed hundred-year-old oak tree. By the way, this oak was planted in 1902, when the Orthodox Seraphim Cathedral, which was on this site, was consecrated, beheaded in the early 30s and converted into an orphanage club and warehouse. Initially, two gate oaks grew opposite the porch. The club was demolished in the mid-50s when a short trolleybus line was built in the city. A trolleybus ring was needed on Stalin Street, right around the club. The St. Seraphim Cathedral, built of Tien Shan spruce, was quickly destroyed, the logs, ringing like a string, were immediately taken away, and the mighty oaks held on to life until the last, tried to heal the wounds from car collisions, and now there was only one left - wounded and the last.
