Ivanova Brewery

Photo from 1925 The city's industrial enterprises mainly processed agricultural products. In 1913, there were seven large enterprises here: two roller mills, a candy factory, tanneries and a wool washing plant. There were also 12 water mills, oil churns, rice mills, candle-making facilities, soap factories and other enterprises. Industrialist N.I. Ivanov, in addition to the brewery (1909), kept a distillery and wine factory (1882). Both of these enterprises are still operating successfully today.
