Victory Square

Victory Square. View south from the Naryn restaurant. In the center of the square there is a monument-memorial (sculptors T. Sadykov, M. K. Anikushkin, architects V. Lyzenko, V. Bukhaev, 1984): three granite arches of a yurt with a sculpture of a woman-mother at the eternal flame. The two side compositions are sculptures of soldiers carrying a disassembled machine gun and soldiers returning from the war to their children. On the stone slabs is a list of Kyrgyzstanis - Heroes of the Soviet Union and full holders of the order.
