 Myrzabaev's store Among the numerous stationary retail outlets of Pishpek, the number of which exceeded 500, large trading establishments of merchants and industrialists stood out. In the shopping arcades of Bazarnaya Street there were shops of merchants Akchurin, I. Daulbaev, A. Pushnikov, N. Ivanov, A. Kveitman and others. The import of industrial products and goods was carried out from Russia through Tashkent and by caravan routes through the Karkarinsky fair from China, Persia and India. The shops of prominent merchants were built of baked bricks with characteristic patterned and rusticated masonry. The roofs were covered with iron, wooden tiles - shingles covered the pediments and the pyramidal towers that completed the structure. Large window and door openings were closed from the outside with forged metal shutters. In the first years of Soviet power, the former store of Myrzabaev housed the “People's House”, which was later transformed into the Central Workers' Club. Meetings and congresses of the Bolshevik Party were held here, films were shown, and a library operated. The first performances of the Kyrgyz Music and Drama Studio “Kaigyluu Kakei” and “Karachach” were also staged here.
