State Russian Drama Theater. Photo from the Galitsky collection, 50s The Russian Drama Theater was founded in 1935. It was located in this building - the converted "House of Defense" on the corner of Pervomaiskaya (Razzakova) and Frunze streets - from 1942 to 1978.
