 Monument “Friendship of Peoples” The monument in honor of the 100th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan’s voluntary entry into Russia was built in 1974 in Friendship Square. It consists of 2 vertical wing-shaped concrete pylons, lined with white marble. The pylons are surrounded by a high relief made of copper by hammering and chasing in the form of a composition of 13 figures, symbolizing the unbreakable friendship of the Kyrgyz and Russian peoples, their joint participation in the revolution and cultural and economic construction. The height of the monument is 28 m, the diameter of the belt is 15 m. Sculptors S. Bakashev, T. Sadykov, 3. Khabibulin, architect A. Nezhurin.
