 Water mill The city's industrial enterprises mainly processed agricultural products. In 1913, there were seven large enterprises here: two roller mills, a candy factory, tanneries and a wool washing plant. There were also 12 water mills, oil churns, rice mills, candle-making facilities, soap factories and other enterprises. Water mills were located along the water channels of the Alamedin and Ala-Archa rivers.
