Sher's House
Sher's House on the southwestern corner of Gryaznovskaya and Boulevard The end of the 19th - beginning of the 20th centuries is characterized by the improvement of the city and the construction of significant houses at the head of the city estate. The houses stood on high stone foundations made of cobblestones or ashlars, above which there was a brick basement of the semi-basement or first floor with patterned decor of the brickwork. The walls are made of burnt brick, laid out under jointing with a wide straight brick cornice. The number of rooms was determined by the wealth of the city dweller. In the 30s, a second floor was built over the house and the building functioned as a pedagogical technical school and an educational institute. It burned down and was demolished in the 60s of the twentieth century.
