Popov's House

 Popov's House. Beginning of the 20th century Two-story house of Vasily Stepanovich Popov. What distinguished it from other two-story buildings in the city was its grand addition with a high porch and a roof topped with intricate iron pyramids and a weather vane. Wide doors opened hospitably into a huge hall, and many high windows made this hall completely transparent. Popov had a mill, an oil mill and a dairy store.
