School No. 10
School No. 10 By 1940, there were 34 schools in the city's education network. School No. 10 was built in 1938. The school and its immediate surroundings are located on the territory of the Klyuchevskoye settlement. In the middle of the last century, Nikolai Dmitrievich Cherkasov, a remarkable ascetic and researcher of antiquities, worked as a history teacher at this school. Together with his students, he collected a rich archaeological collection on the territory of the settlement. The famous archaeologist Pyotr Nikitovich Kozhemyako believed that the extensive material collected by the archaeological circle of school No. 10 proves the existence of a settlement here in the 8th-12th centuries. He writes about this in the monograph: “Early medieval cities and settlements of the Chui Valley.” In the museum of school No. 10. On the right is Cherkasov, 1973.
